how do u find out what credit reference company banks and building societies use?

............short of asking them. My information is up to date with Call credit but not experian and equifax - does anyone know of a website etc that tells customers what reference agency is used. Thank you

1. Ask them, they are legally obliged to tell you.
2. You've pretty much answered your own question. 99% of all credit applications are credit scored with Experian or Equifax. Contact both to get your credit report, and it will show all credit checks made by banks, building societies, etc etc. That's how you'll know which bank uses which agency.
