  1. They share data but each can be slightly different.
  2. Equifax is more the standard report. Each company has a little different credit scoring model. Some major companies pull all three reports and take the score in the middle.
  3. each agency is different depending on what agency a company reports to. For example: if experian shows you have a collection out from so and so company that doesn't necessarily mean transunion will show the same and vice-versa. Pull all three to get an accurate report.
  4. They are not neccessarily the same. You have 3 scores and each can vary. You need to get all three reports and scores for an accurate picture. Often time delinquencies wont be on all three, or the balances are wrong on one, etc. If the one you pulled is 100% correct, you can contest any differences on the other ones, in which case you DO have excellent credit. If the one you pulled is missing bad stuff, its likely its on the other ones, in which case you just pulled you "Best" score. Equifax is 30 points higher than my other 2 scores, for me.
  5. from my experience they are pretty much the same. one company however may have somthing listed another company does not or vice versa. but most of the info should match.
  6. Yes, all of the information will be the same. Their formats are different though, so you might find that you like one over the other. You can also get a free credit report from all three agencies every year at annualcreditreport.com, so don't be fooled to sign up for all of their products and services.
  7. you will have three different scores from the different bureaus. USUALLY the equifax is the middle of the two scores, therefore it is often referred to as your credit score. all use the same information and such for the most part. all of them calculate your score completely differently. also, creditors, banks, etc don't always report to all three bureaus. caosts money to do that. so you may have several instances where something might pop up on your equifax report and not your transunion.
  8. They are usually the same or very close.
  9. I recently pulled all three reports, and while Equifax and Experian were essentially the same, my TransUnion file was a total disaster. I had such a hard time explaining what was wrong with each thing I gave up and sent them a letter that they had to reverify everything. They are the worst of the three, but unfortunately, when it comes to scores, you end up getting averaged, so the crap that TransUnion has in the file matters. There was a 40+ point diff between TransUnion and the other two respectively.
  10. They should all be based off of the same info. All three are independent of each other but the scores from all three should be relatively close. When you go to get a loan, we will pull from all three and take your middle score. Not an average, your middle score. Like I said, they are almost always within around 50 points of each other though so you should be fine even if one company is way off.
  11. each company is different and has different standards.
