What credit agency do real estate agencies look at for rentals?
I want to rent a apartment and one credit agency shows better credit for me than the others. Who do home owners check your credit with when you rent there homes? (privately)

- it really does depend on their accountant
- They actually get a compilation of your score- though a bank I worked for looked at Equifax mostly. Generally consumers cannot check each other's credit scores, though there is an avenue that homeowners can use to check credit before allowing renters to rent from them. Again, it would be more of a compilation of your score from all 3 credit bureaus. But generally for renting you don't need as high of a score as you would for buying a home.
