What's the best credit repair company out there? (I was thinking about using Fowler & Fowler)...?

1. DO NOT USE A CREDIT REPAIR COMPANY! The government is cracking down on these companies because of their shady business practices. According to Eileen Harrington of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, “Credit repair promoters generally charge hundreds of dollars, but don’t deliver on their claims. The fact is, they can’t. No one can legally remove accurate and timely information from your credit report.” If you have a dispute about information on your credit report, file it with the credit report company. By law they have to remove erroneous information.
2. None...what they do , you can do it by yourself.
3. Andy is absolutely correct. Credit repair companies are a scam. They are charging you to do work that you are capible of doing yourself. The problem is most consumers don't know what to do.
