Does anyone know if student loan companies will turn you down for bad credit? I have bad credit but would like to go to college here shortly and the only thing holding me back is money. What I would like to do is take out a loan large enough to cover my living expenses and my tuition while I am in school, so that if I have a bad month at work I don't have to worry about being homeless while still trying to work and go to school. I figure a $25,000 loan would be enough to cover all expenses and tuition for one year and that I could make payments on it while I go to school, but since payments aren't required until graduation, i could skip a month of payments if necessary. Any information is helpful and greatly apppreciated. Oh if it helps I think my credit score is about a 450. thanks
