- There are some companies willing to take a chance on individuals with bad credit, although I do not know if Walmart is one of them. They will issue a card with a high interest rate, since you are a high risk, and hope to make a lot of money from you on interest charges, finance fees, late fees, etc. If you don't need the card, don't apply for it. Most people end up getting themselves into much deeper water. Paying by cash or check helps moderate the spending and make it seem more real. Applying for many cards at once looks bad to a credit card company. Talk with you bank (if you have one) about options available to you.
- Store cards such as Wal-mart, Target, Kohl's, etc. are typically hard to get approved for. They often require a higher score and an extensive history. If you are trying to rebuild your credit, CapitalOne offers low balance cards to people with poor or no credit.
- Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience. I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details, if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first, a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found : http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-consolidation.htm if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!
