  1. i have never but i do believe if i ever had to repair my credit i could do just as good a job as some one that was hired!!!
  2. You don't need a credit repair attorney or anyone else to fix your credit. I would recommend you do it yourself and save the money, which you obviously don't have anyway. You should be able to look around online and find some good ideas for how to go about this, but generally, start paying down your debts and keep current on your bills. That's really the only way to repair your credit.
  3. The company is in new york, I don't have there# but you can call 411the name is Northshore advisory
  4. Instead of paying an attorney or a credit repair agency to fix your credit, apply the money you would have paid towards some of the balances you owe creditors. There are some good sites out there that will give you useful information for free, and without any strings attached. Listed below is a site I have found to be useful with providing tons of information and helpful letters you can use to help repair your credit.
  5. Its a waste when you can do your own fixing. The first step is to get a free credit report. Examine it of those credit cards which were yours and highlight those that look questionable. You get an opportunity to DISPUTE any charges that are questionable. When you dispute, you give your updated info so if those charges do belong to you, the creditor will locate you quickly and start sending you letters again. This is a good thing because you can start handling SETTLEMENTS, with those creditors through settlement letters. You will want to make contact to those creditors to request one. This is where you and the creditor negotiate an amount that will satisfy you and the creditor that is reasonable for you first, of course. For example: You can tell them that out of a $1500 balance, perhaps $800.00 is what you can come up with. They will negotiate this amount but you can tell them that you want to make it in 2 payments. NEGOTIATION is the key and watch how many creditors work with you.
  6. The only legitamite way to "fix" your credit is to pay on time over a period of time.
