3. Credit repair and debt consoladation are two entirely different things. Be careful of credit repair companies, most require you to pay by the month and they will do everything within their power to drag your case out as long as they possibly can to continue getting that monthly fee. This is what I do. I charge a flat fee depending on how complicated the case is, whether the debts are legitimate or not (don't let anyone tell you that legitimate debts cannot be removed, they can but not always), etc. Find an individual in your area who specializes in credit repair and can help you. LLCs are also good since they are normally owned and operated privately. Try to stay away from large companies or anyone who wants to charge you monthly for credit repair. And never forget, there is NOTHING you can pay someone to do to repair your credit that hard work and research cannot do. You can handle your own credit repair if you know what you're doing. Credit forums are a great place to start reading and learning about how credit repair works and what steps you can take to improve your credit score. Hope this helps.
