when renting out your house how do you report it to a credit agency?
I am renting my house to a very good friend. The contract is in his business name and he wants his payments recorded with a credit agency so it builds his credit.does anyone know how to do that?

- YOU must become a subscriber to that bureau; so, tell him you would be glad to do so but he must pay for your subscription.
- This would be a result of a 3rd party requesting his rental history be added to his score, whether it be a credit agency, lender, etc. You would contact the credit agency, who would then (for a fee) contact the owner of the home and ask for documentation showing the payment history. They could then report this on a report....since you're renting to a friend, however, you're an interested party, and they may not allow this.
