what credit agency does american express use?

I would like to apply for amex card , But everybody knows that credit agencies reports differently. So does anybody know which one they use to check your credit? equifax , transunion, experian? or all three?

  1. I just applied for American Express Blue for Business card on July 14, 2008 and a credit inquiry showed up on my Experian report only. I also have an Amex Gold card which I applied for in Nov 2007, and my Experian report was the only reviewed. Some creditors will pull at random a report from one of the three bureaus, such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo. This may be the case for American Express.
  2. They looked at my Experian credit report for both my Platinum Card and Blue. I check my credit reports monthly so I saw both inquiries.
