Can I get a buy here pay here car dealership to report my payments to a credit agency to help my score?

I have paid a total of 25 payments of $100 to a buy here pay here car dealership....can I ask them to report that, to help my credit? And if so.....what credit agency? And if so.....what credit agency does it go to?

1. Yes, they can fax it or give you the payment history and you can fax it yourself.
2. Auto finance is what I do for a living and in my experience 90+% of buy here pay here places do not report to the credit bureaus. The reason for this is simply, if they do, then the customers will be able to get financed through a normal lender and the buy here pay here place loses a customer. The ones that do report, only report when a loan is paid off and only report the amount borrowed, date opened and date closed with no payment history information. You can ask, but they have no legal requirement to report.
