What cards can you used when you have bad credit that you are trying to rebuild?

Any credit cards, gas cards, and other things you can do to get your credit rating back up.

  1. using credit responsibly will help heal your credit rating. best thing you can do is get whatever credcard you want (or can) then be sure to pay off every month so you don't get caught in debt again

  3. some suggestions for cards are below. Always read card holder agreements, I make it a rule to always pay my money order, moneygram, or western union just because they're guarantee funds. The one card requires you to have your payment deducted from your checking account, but if you pay early they won't bother your account. Be responsible. Good Luck.

  5. I would suggest a secured card. Orchard bank and National City both offer decent cards which report to all 3 bureaus and are not flagged as secured on your credit report. They also have fairly low minimum deposit requirements ($250 if I remember right) and will remove the security deposit requirement after a year of good payments. EDIT: Oh and stay away from the two cards linked above by Netta M. They both want huge upfront fees ($150-200) in return for the card. You are much better paying the same money on a secured card because at least it's still yours in a savings account as opposed to in the credit card companies pocket.
