Do you have really bad credit below 520 and still got a new credit card? What card was it?

I need to rebuild my very very bad credit history and so I need a credit card who have you gotten aproved with if your in this situation?

1. if by some miracle you get a card, the rate will be extremely high - how did your credit get so bad without a credit card?

Cross country bank will give you a credit card with a 300 dollar limit but be warned....They will charge you 225 dollars in fees @ 29% interest when they give you the card, and then another 6 dollars per month just for having the card. So when you get the card it will be brand new and you will already have that 225$ balance. Now...before you go out and get that card, if you want to build your credit back up, you need to pay off your old debts (or dispute them) Because getting another credit card will not really help you. And dont say you dont have any, because NOBODY has a score that low unless they have ALOT of collections
4. peilthetraveler is an f ing moron. you DO NOT need a CREDIT card to rebuild your score. Get a cellphone or a small personal loan with a bank. Have a cosigner help you get the loan. DONT GET a card.
