  1. Google "credit cards for people with bad credit". A whole list will come up but be careful. There are a lot of fees and your credit limit is only between $250 and $300. Once they add all the fees on, you only have about $50 for availibe credit.
  2. The credit cards which are available to people with poor credit are very expensive. There are numerous fees just to get the card, and there is often fraud involved. Remember Providian? They cheated a great many people. Orchard Bank also provides credit cards to people with poor credit; once again the fees and interest rates are high. Available credit may be as little as $200-300 -- just enough to cover all the fees involved in opening the account. If you have poor credit, either you are a lousy, negligent manager of your bills, or you do not make enough money to pay your basic living expenses. So why do you want to make your life worse with a costly credit card? Use a debit card!
  3. You can get a pre-paid credit card at your bank, otherwise try orchard bank. Make sure to read the fine print (terms and conditions) before signing up for the card. You should pull your credit report and see what derogatory item are hurting it.
  4. Dont do it. I had great credit once. I got Credit card, I Brought myself things.. I paid min payment... The bill went up and up and up... I got another credit card to pay the bill of the otherone and keep up my new addiction. I got myself more credit, Egg.Com allowed me to upgrade my credit limit until it reached £6000. I could no way afford to pay that back in a year. I then got a remortgage to pay off my debts, and ended up getting in more debt again. I have wasted my entire teenaged life and most of my early 20's. If I had the choice in life again, I would live in a tent or caravan and be a gypsy. As this life style is not the meaning of life. GIVE CREDIT THE ELBOW!

  6. Major credit card issuers like Discover, American Express and Chase offer a credit card for bad credit holders. A 'shopping' card offers you an unsecured line of credit from specific sellers. Use these cards to increase your credit rating, since the credit bureaus will be informed about your timely payments. Take care to ensure your credit is good by making intelligent credit choices. Keep low balances, do not be extravagant and take care to pay off your balances promptly every month. http://debt-trap.com/category/Bad-Credit-Credit-Cards.html
  7. New Millennium Bank offers a Platinum Visa and MasterCard with no credit checks and your application is approved regardless of your credit history. Although there are several sites that offer them, I would suggest making sure the site is reliable. I just recently got a card through http://www.RightCharge.org . They made it easy for me to get my card and they had a secure on-line application. For more information on the New Millennium Bank cards go to http://mysite.verizon.net/ressg6c7/rightcharge2/id113.html GOOD LUCK! Hope this helps. :)
  8. In my experience there are two types of Bad Credit Credit Cards. One is a secured card, and the other has a much higher rate of interest. Both can be used to rebuild your credit worthiness after getting back on your feet. Secured credit cards are great for rebuilding your credit. You send the credit card company a pre deposit amount set by the company<!--This amount will be equal to your credit limit. Pay over your minimum every month and send your payment in before the due date and you will build your credit up gradually. Never miss a payment, be late on a payment, or go over your credit limit even by a small amount. http://best-loans.awardspace.com/credit-card-for-people-with-bad-credit.htm http://bestcreditcards.freehostia.com/ You don't want the company to ever have to take from your pre deposit amount because they want you to handle your account just like you would an unsecured card. A great thing about this pre deposit amount that you send in is it can act as a savings account even earning a little-->bit of interest for you. After establishing yourself with the credit card company, they may decide to give you a unsecured credit card or increase the limit on the one you have with them without having to make another deposit. Secured credit cards are a good choice for anyone wishing to rebuild their credit history.
