- There is no easy credit repair or fix. These companies cannot fix your credit. Fix your credit easy: 1. Pay all of your bills and pay them on time. 2. Pay more than the minimum balance. 3. Do not exceed 25% of your available credit if you carry a revolving balance. 4. Buy what you need, not what you want. 5. Rinse and repeat. In several months your credit score will slowly improve.
- yourself! that is the only way. do not seek help from those debt consolidate places or debt relief places. it actually looks even worse on your credit report. The best thing for u to do, is go to a book store, buy a book on credit repair and follow what it says. But basically if you want to repair your credit, you need to pay off your debt. otherwise it'll always be there. Trust me, even if its been over 7 yrs it can still appear on your report. Because all a collection company has to do is re-report it and bam its back on. Call the places you owe, sometimes they will allow you to just pay half of what you owe up front and be done with it.
- Hello, I know exactly what you need. I was in a very similar situation and I've had close friends in situations that are similar as well. One of my buddies came across this site, and they have a free eBook which tells you everything you'll ever need to know. Here is the site: www.TradelineSource.com Take Care... PS: After going to that site, my credit score went up to 762 :-)
- there is no need to pay someone when you can do it yourself 1. pull your credit reports; you are given a free report each year from all 3 bureau's at www.annualcreditreport.com 2. go over all 3 reports and see if there are any items that are not yours 3. if you find something that doesn't belong to you then dispute it 4. for the remaining stuff that is yours you need to contact each creditor and see if they are willing to do a settlement 5. tackle the smaller debts first and get them out of the way and then focus on the larger debts 6. pay all of your current bills on time; pay more than the mininum if possible and from time to time check your score and you will see your credit get better
- IN your mirror. YOu can rebuild your own credit. It starts with you making a budget and sticking to it. Realistically put your income on paper and make an assessment of your bills. Stop using your credit cards and make a note to pay each of your bills every month ON TIME...try to pay more than the minimum amount for your credit cards.
- Try Dave Ramsey's website.
- You might start by doing as much reading as you can on some of the sites listed in my profile. I've bookmarked this site... http://debt.knowledged.info/credit_card.html Hope it all works out
