Bad credit?
Can a single unmarried never been married man have bad credit that they will still have even when they get married? How does one go about getting bad credit?

- Anyone can "get" bad credit - married or not. You get it by not paying your debts.
- Credit reports are individual, ie one per person. So getting married will not "blend" any credit. What usually happens is the bad credit spouse convinces the good credit spouse to open accounts and spend beyond their means. Also the bcs may open accounts without the gcs permission, then have the statements sent to a different address, then default, now the gcs has bad credit. Remember this - 99% of people will LIE about financial issues. Not sure why, ask a psychiatrist, but it is a fact. You need to demand the bcs make clear steps to improve their credit before you get married. a>
