- you can try getting a secured card
- sure there are :) 1. contential finance 2. imagine master card 3. orchard bank theres are the major creditors that will offer you credit wilth a low credit score. with the imagine mastercard you have to secure your account with a bank account. but those are really good credit cards ( contential finance has bad customer service though) but good luck. and oh yeah heads dont use more than 20% of your credit. 35% of your credit report is is your debt to credit ratio. this means the amout of credit you have to the amount you are spending. good luck and remember that good credit was not bulid in a day.
- might try orchard hill bank or cor-trust bank or a prepaid card
- A secured credit card is what you are looking for. These cards require a deposit and can help a person in your situation get on the right track. You should also look into learning how to repair the past damage that has been done to your credit score. While there is no majic fix there are proactive things you can do or hire a service to do that will clean up some of your past problems. The website below has much more information on this and will help you understand the best way to improve your credit, it also has a link to a company that will provide you a secured credit card. - Yes! most banks offer secured credit cards. You put up the funds in a special account and the bank gives you a card with the account balance as a spending limit. Most banks require at least $300 to start!
- Getting a high interest credit card could likely lower your credit score further. You should cut up the cards you have now and live on a cash system. Start snowballing your debts one by one. This is the only way you will dig yourself out.
- There are several websites that offer credit cards for people with bad credit. One site that I just used to get a card was http://www.rightcharge.org They have several cards available. They have a section called "poor credit". I would check them out. Also there are sites available that can help you repair your credit. Good Luck!
- I would start by visiting your bank or local credit union. They should be able to assist you with this. Also check out: http://www.credit-card-loans-debt.com
