I have bad credit which I have been fixing, are there any free credit cards I can get?
My credit was bad, but I've gotten everything paid off and its been about a year with nothing but good. The only credit I have right now though, is a fingerhut account which is paid off. Are there any credit cards which will give bad credit people a second chance and NOT charge a monthly or anual fee? You do need credit for some things in your life. It sucks but its true. So don't judge me, either give me an answer or not.

- DEBT IS DUMB.. You don't need a credit score if you pay cash for items. You don't need a credit score to take out a mortgage. Buying a car on credit is the worst thing a person can do. http://www.daveramsey.com/etc/lms/drive_... Use a DEBIT/Visa you can do everything with this you can with a credit card except GO INTO debt. Don't be Normal, Normal is Broke and in debt. http://www.daveramsey.com/ As I am 49 and digging out of 140,000 in consumer debt, now down to 40,000 I can say with all candor DEBT is the dumbest thing a person can do in their life.
- If you are out of debt, congrats. Stay out of debt, why are you so gung ho about becoming a slave to a bank again?
- Check out this web site: http://www.creditcards.com/bad-credit.php?a_aid=1017&a_cid=1045 There are some cards listed there that are offered for little or no fee. If you click on one of the cards, it will take you right to the application.
- I have got many credit cards for free. It's when you read that "fine print" beyond the "introductory rate." That's a "grabber." There is two rules in life. 1. Nothing is free. 2. Cover your @$$, because "now-one else will." <}:-})
- i dont know about free but there are some 1s for people with bad credit all you have to do is gop to credit cards.com and they ask you what kind of credit do you have they also tell you what type of credit is needed for the card if all else fails there greendot or rush cards i like them because they are pink but you should really check out that site i hope i helped you
- Don't get anymore debt save and pay cash.
- no, there's not, that dud that told you that's its stupid to borrow money for a car is probably not poor or has saved up to buy one straight out. a car & house are the only 2 things you really need to borrow money for. one credit card is not bad for you unless you dont pay it off on the same month you buy something with it. call vise or check with your bank they are helpful people. they will help yuou wiht you credit. also you might think about gettting a account with equfax to help you keep a eye on your credit & they will tell you what is going with your credit. ive been with them for a long time now. a few things that i noticed that was wrong with my report they help me fix.
- In my experience there are two types of Bad Credit Credit Cards. One is a secured card, and the other has a much higher rate of interest. Both can be used to rebuild your credit worthiness after getting back on your feet. Secured credit cards are great for rebuilding your credit. You send the credit card company a pre deposit amount set by the company<!--This amount will be equal to your credit limit. Pay over your minimum every month and send your payment in before the due date and you will build your credit up gradually. Never miss a payment, be late on a payment, or go over your credit limit even by a small amount. http://best-loans.awardspace.com/credit-card-for-people-with-bad-credit.htm http://bestcreditcards.freehostia.com/ You don't want the company to ever have to take from your pre deposit amount because they want you to handle your account just like you would an unsecured card. A great thing about this pre deposit amount that you send in is it can act as a savings account even earning a little-->bit of interest for you. After establishing yourself with the credit card company, they may decide to give you a unsecured credit card or increase the limit on the one you have with them without having to make another deposit. Secured credit cards are a good choice for anyone wishing to rebuild their credit history.
- orchardbank.com or householdbank.com my score was 426 and they both gave me a cc with a credit limit of $750.00 at zero percent intrest for one year. good for you paying off debt is refreshing and exciting just don't get yourself in that situation again. good luck kit-kat
- Citi® Bronze®/AAdvantage® MasterCard®is by far the most widely used card. It is essential for regular travelers with average credit. Its reward program gives you an additional mile per $2 spent on the card. You can collect up to 25,000 miles annually, and can be redeemed for flights on partner airlines, hotel accommodations throughout the world, and car rentals. Additional benefits are: zero liability for unauthorized transactions, travel accident insurance and various Internet account associated services. The card does not charge any annual fee. But the drawback is the minimum APR cap for cash advances, set at 19.99%. http://debt-trap.com/category/Bad-Credit-Credit-Cards.html
