  1. Why on earth do you need more credit if you cannot pay your bills and you cannot follow thru on your bankruptcy....? Your credit is exactly what it should be...until you chance your mindset and follow thru with your commitments, it will NEVER be repaired. Pay your bills honor your commitments your score will increase when you do
  2. Unless you can spot a significant error n your report, and can successfully protest it, the fastest way to repair your credit is to pay your bills! It is not a fast process. You've got to prove you can be responsible with credit. Afterall, credit is a priviledge, not a right.
  3. To Repair credit score Your credit score is based mostly on: 1. Length of credit history 2. Payment history. 3. Ratio of credit used to available credit. 4. Number of credit inquiries you authorized. If you cancel your card, you'll be hurting your credit ratio. (#3). You want to deliberately keep your oldest credit card open, even if you never use it. You want to always pay the minimums of each loan on time every month. You want to keep your available credit high, but actually only have balances equalinig 25% or less. You want to keep your credit inquiries to a minimum. Try for no more than 3 or 4 per year for any type of loans. You do these things and your credit score will quickly soar into the 700s. ------------------------------------------------- http://www.bestcreditrates.net
  4. There is no fast way to repair your credit. The first thing you need to do is either repay your debts or make payment arraingments. If they've already gone to collections, get an agreement (in writing) to get those collections taken off your record when they're repaid. Don't get behind on your payments and your score will gradually increase but it takes time to build or repair your credit. A site I've used for info in the past ... http://debt.123thebest.info/credit_card.html Good Luck.
