credit card for bad credit advice please? rebuilding credit?

hi to all reading this. i lost my wife to cancer 4 and a half years ago and did not pay my bills due to taking the loss pretty bad and drinking a hell of a lot i remarried last year and my wife is brill however i did not realise that the bills i missed would default and haunt me for a further 6-7 years i had a score in september of 330 pretty poor but after a lot of hard work and paying a lot of bills i have gained a futher 104 bringing my total recent score to 434 what sort of score would i need to get a bad credit credit card to use as a tool for rebuilding my score further i will use it for petrol and pay off straight away any help would be great thanks for you time!

1. .... with a score that low your best option is a secured credit card i seriously doubt you will find a company (even for those with bad credit) to approve you

But over time they will raise your limit, and if you pay on time every month your score should start to go up after the 3rd month of payments.
4. When you can bring your score by 104 points then you can further improve it. For bad credit credit card you will atlest have to make a score of 580 or above. But for a good credit card it will have to be atleast 650 or above. So try to improve it.
