Bad Credit Agency

I need to rent an apartment a.s.a.p.,I have bad credit,& I have contacted credit repair agencies.?

First of all,does credit repair work?(If only long enough for me to get a place,that's o.k.) And will it help me get an apartment by Oct.I don't have the time or patience to do the credit repair myself w/ the companies.I have an appointment w/ a company on friday & am afraid to get scammed.What are the red flags that the credit repair company is a scam?

1. Check with BBB.org If you need to find a place to live ASAP, short term try an " extened stay hotel
2. according to the ftc (federal) website, anything that these companies can do, you can do yourself but for a free.... but you said you dont have the time/patience//// This is interesting and it is not a wonder why you have bad credit since you are unwilling to put the time and patience in to improve YOUR future
