Has anyone used Credit-Aid (credit repair software)?
I was wondering if $39.99 is worth it for Credit-Aid. The website is at http://www.creditdoctorsoftware.com/stor... and I saw a two part video on you tube when I typed in "fix your credit". My credit is good, but I would love to improve it. Any previous users of this software (or if you know a friend) who have had any good or bad experiences, please let me know. If you have any other suggestions for software (I need to know what I can do, but I would like the software to generate the letters for me) would be appreciated.

- If you have good credit already, then you've been paying your bills on time and not messing around with too much debt, and if you've been doing that then there's no reason why you would need any sort of software to raise it higher. Most "credit repairing" software is simply a way to pay money for something that's going to tell you when to pay your bills. I've always thought it was a little asinine to have software tell me when my bills are due. If you already have good credit, then you're doing this whole personal finance thing better than a lot of people, so you're on the right track. Don't waste your money. Just keep on keeping on and you're credit should creep higher. But keep a keen eye on it to make sure you catch it if it dips. Figure out what caused it and don't do it again. Hope this helps!
- If you want my opinion and im sure you do. I wouldnt worship at the alter of The Almighty fico score. The only people that obsess with the I love debt score are the ones that plan on borrowing lots of money and paying lots of interest. A low score from borrowing money and not paying it back is trouble. If you have 0 score from not borrowing money. You can still get an apartment and job and home loan.(same low interest rates) Debt free is the way to be! no payments = cash in the bank.
