  1. yeah, they're really good at taking your money....the only way to do it is to pay off the outstanding bills you have.....and time...alot of time....but after about 3 years of paying off the outstanding debts, you will start getting offers for credit again....just don't screw it up the second time around...but there is no magic company out there that can fix a bad credit situation....only you and time can do that
  2. They can if you can get an honest one, but with some effort and homework knowledge, you can do the same things for yourself! You don't have to pay anyone for credit report repair. I did this myself after ID theft and bankruptcy and got my score up from 486 to 730 in a little over a years time! Go to my website because I know it will be helpful to you. You would benefit from the "how credit scoring works" section as well. I go into detail about methods you can use to dispute negatives in your credit reports legally that are effective as long as you have the determination to see it through! Beware of scams! There are a lot of them out there and I outline some of the most common scams and traps that people have fallen for! I've been hit with a couple of these myself! Also, get a free copy of your credit report!
  3. Yes they do but just like any thing else you have someone come in and fix for you you have to check them out and make sure their reputable. Now if your the type of person that has a good grasp of credit and how it works then I would suggest going to your local book store and finding a book on credit repair. There are a lot of them out their and most are very help full. If you don't credit repair company's can help there is a fee involved and it will take 3 - 5 months but the results are there. Now I would not expect to see the same results like the last guy. ( 430's to 740's) in most cases it's about a 100 or so points. I have a credit restoration company and if you have any questions let me know addvise is free. ryan@robertscreditgroup.com
  4. Most of them are in the business of making money, so not only are you in more debt, the chances of them making any repairs are slim to none. You can do it your self and know exactly where you stand.
