Bad Credit Agency

does anyone know what happens after the have completed credit counselling.?

i have completed a 4 year program with a cc agency. while in the program i agreed not to aply for credit also knowing that it would be declined while in the program anyway. now that i am finished does the automatic decline of credit go away or do i need to do something to clean up my credit.

1. I would think after a 4 year program they would have already taught you about credit and what you were supposed to do afterwards.
2. the cc agency should be handling that for you, I hoped that you checked your credit reports periodically while they were handling your finances for 4 years !!!!! I'm glad your finished but then there shouldn't be anything to clean up ????? I hope you checked them earlier though !!! Get copies of your credit reports. www.creditinfocenter.com
3. I'M IN A PROGRAM AND I HAVE CHECKED MY CREDIT REPORTS I HAVE NOT NOTICED A DECLINE IN MY SCORE. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING NOW THAT YOU ARE DONE BUT DO DOUBLE CHECK WITH YOUR PROGRAM. GOOD FOR YOU FOR FINISHING I MADE THE MISTAKE OF OPENING CARDS WHILE I'M STILL IN IT!
4. I went through it several years ago, took me 3 years and I did not have to do anything. If the company you used paid as agreed, your credit should be good.
5. my husband did it. you dont automatically get declined. they just try to scare you. apply for credit now.
