Are there any good credit counseling agencies to help pay off debt?

1. Care Credit is a good source to help you get your credit cards paid down. All they do is get the interest reduced or cancelled. You still have to pay the bill yourself.

3. Yes. YOU! Stay away from anyone that charges you a fee to settle your debt or consolidated your debt. What they do is not pay your creditors for months and then try and settle for less. No special skills. They just dont pay. It will trash your credit. If that is the route you have to go, do it yourself. Save the fees and put it on the debt. Remember if you go with one of these companies and they dont pay. You, and you alone are still responsible for the debt and your creditors will sue you and not the company that you hired.
