1. You're not alone. Foreclosures are rampant, watch the news! Negotiate with your mortgage company, if possible, to prevent foreclosure. There are laws being made right now to prevent foreclosures, the govt' has stepped in seeing this tragedy happening across the nation. Talk to your mortgage company!
2. Are you working a second job? What do you have that you could sell quickly.
3. If your foreclosure is due to an ARM that has reset and you can't afford the payment... FHA has a new program designed just for you. You can refi into an FHA loan even with mortgage lates. If you owe more than the house is worth they will allow the current lender to forgive the difference or hold a 2nd mortgage for the difference, but still allow you to refi up to 97.75% of the appraised value into a low fixed rate FHA mortgage.
