2. Those companies are all rip offs... they steal your money. Dont do it. If you are several months behind, you can settle yourself. Otherwise, just start making payments, starting with the most you can pay on the smallest balance, minimums on all others, and work your way up. You dont need to waste your money on those credit counseling scams. These companies do nothing that you cant do yourself. They take advantage of people while that are in a tough time.
