Iâ??ve found this site ( http://www.insightempire.com/badcredit.htm ) thatâ??s helped me understand consolidating my debt, I didnâ??t even know about consolidating prior, â??yea, I know it sounds silly, but when your spending money, you donâ??t think about terms like thatâ??. So, my question is, does anyone know of any good credit cards?

  2. A Credit card for people with bad credit is a form of borrowing that often involves charges. So it's wise to compare terms and fees before you agree to open a credit or charge card account. Try looking for a credit card<!--with a low APR. Find out the APR because this is the amount charged to you on monthly balances. http://badcredits.awardspace.com/credit-card-for-people-with-bad-credit.htm Are you overwhelmed with credit card offers and don’t know which one is right for you? Shop around because not all credit cards for people with bad credit are created equal.
  3. Unfortunately, when you have bad credit..generally you will be paying a higher interest rate. There are basically 3 types of credit cards for people with bad credit; secured, unsecured and prepaid. The unsecured ones tend to have a high monthly fee. With the secured cards you have to make a deposit and your credit limit will usually match what you deposit. you'll get your deposit back if you ever cancel the card. and because you have bad credit; its unlikely you'll get a high credit limit. only way you can is to get a prepaid credit card..but you'll have to fund the balance. one thing you may want to try if you have a credit card and if you're in good standing with them is call them and ask for a lower interest rate. you may be suprised because you'll find banks will work with you. just tell them you found another rate and you're going to cancel their card if they don't match it. usually if you tell them its 9.9%; they'll match. if i had to recommend a credit card, i'd recommend the Orchard Bank Secured Credit Card. I had this one myself awhile ago ($300 credit limit). I like it because I could manage it...I paid my bills on time. And the fees are reasonable (at last check; $0-$48 annual fee. 8.90%-14.90% APR, $100-200 minimum deposit...fees depend on your credit record). Plus, they do report to the credit bureaus if you pay on time. This should help you build a better credit history so you can maybe one day get a better credit card. I hope this helps.
  4. There are more that a few lenders who specialize in credit cards for people with bad credit. You just have to look a little harder than most people have to. And getting a card after you've had a few problems doesn't necessarily mean that you have a higher than normal rate. Like, I said, you'll just have to compare between credit lines, yearly fees, and interest percentages. Just make sure you do your homework BEFORE you commit, and you'll be fine.
