Can business owners with bad credit attain a loan for their endeavors?

I have this idea that fascinates me (I'm not going to spill it here). But I have bad credit due to being a student with loans and medical bills. After I set up a DBA, couldn't I start an LLC and apply for loans through the company? I have assets I could use for collateral if it will help me.

1. Your business credit is tied closely with your personal credit. Get your personal credit cleaned up and your business credit will benefit. You can dispute the derogatory items from your credit report with the credit reporting agencies. They are clueless. You need to get this straightened out if you are going to stay in business and have other loans, credit cards etc through your business. Good luck to you!
