Do credit unions offer personal loans for bad credit?

  1. don't think so, but you could check with one anyway. good luck.
  2. it depends on how bad is bad what is your score? I do know that it is generally easier to get a loan through a credit union because the money is directly withdrawn from your weekly check than from a bank but they might not decide to give you the loan based on your prior history. If you have alot of bad things on your report for non-payment especially if they are for alot of money ie behind on your mortgage or car payment then probably not, if you owe blockbuster video for not returning a movie and it went to collections then no big deal, but if you owe alot of people alot of money there is no bank in america credit union or otherwise that will give you a loan. Good luck
  3. Depends on just how bad your credit is. Try CitiFinancial. You'll pay a high interest rate, but I've heard they do some crazy loans that a lot of banks won't approve.
