Where can I go for bad credit auto financing? I have poor credit but I want to reduce the amount of inquiries I have for credit while I'm looking for a new car. Is there a lender that I can go to directly to obtain financing before visiting a dealership rather than going to a dealer and having them 'shop' you around to banks?
Can people with bad credit "buy" better auto financing rates? Suppose someone's credit was ruined from a bankruptcy...if they could get auto financing at all, then the interest rate would be terrible I'm sure. But what if they had a large sum of money to put down on the vehicle? If you buy a new $20,000 automobile, and put $10,000 down, would you be justified to demand the same low interest rates offered to people who have excellent credit but put virtually no money down?
BMW, Infiniti Auto Financing - Bad Credit? I'm without a vehicle and have to buy one within two weeks. My credit scores with the three bureaus hovers around 620 but I have good income, long residency in the same place, and no late payments or collections within the last two years. What's my best bet for finding a decent rate (my credit union won't finance under 640)? And is leasing out of the question, particularly with BMW or Infiniti?
What are the auto financing options we have with our bad credit? My wife and I are expecting a child soon (that's the good news) and we need to get a vehicle with more than two doors! Due to a job loss and the following reduction in income our credit is seriously banged up (that's the bad news) Fortunately, we are back on our feet again but the past credit issues continue to haunt us. I have done some research, but everything that I have come across seems pretty shady Are there any legitimte auto financing options available for us?
need auto financing, have bad credit? i am trying to find auto financing, last year has been horrible for me. I went through bread cancer treatment and thank God I am alive, my financial creditentials went down the tubes. I was out of work for 8 months. I have the income $50,000/year and I have been at my job for 10 years. Can anyone help
auto financing w/ bad credit? I have a low 400 score, I talked to some one that did auto financing for 14 years and this is what he told me. He said go to a reputable big dealership that offers "special financing." He said bring proof of income and that in over 14 years he was never able to not finance someone if they had a large enough down payment. I have saved a few thousand dollars and am ready but I don't know a good company to start with...does anyone know the name of a company that is reputable that does special auto finaning...?
Any one get approved for auto financing with bad credit? My husband and I are going to apply for financing tomorrow for a new car (we are getting rid of my current car for something bigger). The payment would be around what we pay now for our car payement. I have had a flawless payment history for my current car and my previous car. However, we had a lot of credit card debt (paid off now) and late mortgage payments (current now - due to unexpected out of pocket medical costs). My FICO score is in the 620's. I am unsure of my husbands score but imagine that it is similar to mine since everything is in both of our names. Do you think that we will get approved for financing based on our payment history and credit score?
Good online auto finance company who works with bad credit? I've recently moved, just started a new job and need a car. My credit is fairly bad, though I am working on it and wanted to know if any of the "we finance anyone" online finance places were good, or if there are some I should definately not use? It worries me a little to give my personal info out to some of these places when I have no idea if they're legit. Any suggestions?
Where can I get a bad credit auto loan with a score of 560.? I have already tried one of the local dealers and they told me no yesterday. I have a car financed with Ford Credit right now and I am upside down on it because I deffered a few payments a while back. I want to trade it in, because it is starting to have problems and it is not worth me putting more money into it. I really do not want to go to a buy here pay here llot, because their cars are really over priced and they usually have motor issues too. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
Where can I find a resonable auto financing company for someone with bad credit? I actually have a zero credit score and need a new car. I have a great job, make approx $2240 a month gross and bring home approx $1744 been employed with current employer for 2 1/2 years, and previous employment I was with for 4 1/2 years. I have zero to put down due to my hubby's layoff and our depleted savings, I do have a trade in 2001 Ford Focus probably worth about $1500-$2000, but would like to put -0- down if it's possible.
How bad would the repossession by 'we finance auto' affect my credit? I had to buy a used auto from 'we finance' like early this year due to no credit establishment. And I have been sucked paying over 200% of the blue book price. And I don't want to keep paying that because financial situation these days is not really good. If I stop paying monthly payment and they repossess the auto, how would it affect my credit and what else is expected to happen?
What's the best way to get auto financing with minimal credit history? My FICO score about 4 months ago was about 650, I've since cleared up some bad marks, so I'm guessing it's a little higher now but I haven't checked to be sure. I'm a recent college graduate just about to start a full time job, and I really need a new car. Are there any reliable online lenders I should look to? Or should I stick with dealer financing? I already tried Capital One and they denied my application based on lack of credit history and one bad mark I have on my credit history.
Bad Credit Auto Loans Do I Have To...? Hi, My credit is bad and I've filled out a few applications on line but I always get responses from dealerships - I want a specific car and none of the dealerships that respond back are places that carry the car (Yaris). I keep getting referred to Kia or Hyundai...are there any places that will give me a loan I can use at different dealerships?? Or will the Toyota dealership work with me/find a bank that will finance me, even with my bad credit? Thanks
how do I get an auto loan with bad credit? I am trying to finance a car but on my credit I have a few charge offs and a judgement. I would like to find a loan from a fianance company rather than going to a buy here pay here place can anyone help I live in pheonix Az. Thanks
Bad Credit Auto Refinance? I got myself into a really bad situation...bought a car in August 06 and financed it directly through the dealership. I was told they'd send me my payment book, to go home and wait on the details of the loan to be worked out but that my monthly payment would be no more than $100 what I was paying for the car I traded in. I waited, and waited. December rolls around, they threaten to come repossess the car because I had not paid...yet they had never sent me an invoice. I go in, the rude guy shoves a bunch of papers in front of me...I found out I had been driving on illegal tags. The deal didn't get complete until December and at that point I finally sign a sales contract, only it happened so fast I didn't know what I had gotten myself into. I just didn't want them to take my car. Anyway the dealership has me financed at 20.400% interest. I have paid that for 18 months, never missing a payment. They are not reporting to the credit companies. Someone also made a mistake in the invoices they were sending me for the last year and a half (that is WHEN they actually sent invoices). So they apparantly did not factor in the interest. It has added an additional $5000 something to what I thought I owed on the car itself. Because they are not reporting it to the credit companies, I am not getting my credit built up. I desperately want out from under this dealership. They have done nothing but screwed me over since day one. There are more bad things they have done but I could go on and on with it. Simply put, I cannot afford $436.25 a month car payment anymore. When I bought the car, I was told they'd report it and I could get it refinanced within a year or two. Well that time has come and my life situation has changed...I am newly married among other things. What can I do? How could I possibly get it refinanced? I tried to request it be reported to my credit reports, as a consumer and was told I cannot do that. That the lender must open an account with the companies, TransUnion, Equifax, Experian. I have really been screwed over BIG TIME! The woman who handles the paperwork at the dealership said these companies told her I had to request it to be added, but we know this is not true! I have no co-signer and to make matters worse they have applied at least 3/4 of every payment to the INTEREST so I owe more than the car is worth towards the principal at this time.
Auto Financing? Has anyone ever heard of Consumers Credit Choice auto loan for people with bad credit? Has anyone been financed throught them? What are the expectations? Anything I should be aware of?
auto loan with bad credit and after divorce? I just was divorced after 28 years of marriage.> My credit score is terrible (450). I need an auto loan and I dont have a job. I get 650.00 a week for child support and alimony. What are my chance of getting financed. Also what is the best credit counseling out there? Thanks
Can I get an auto loan with bad credit? I am looking to buy a $15,000 car, I will have $2000 to put down. I have poor credit but I am paying off my other $12,000 car loan next month. Do you think anyone will finance me for that amount? I don't want to trade in my other car, I'm going to keep it.
Bad Credit Auto loans? My fiance's credit score is 575 (ish). He has a mortgage but nothing else currently on his credit. The low score is due to old debt that has since been paid off, student loans, and late mortgage payments. He hasn't had a late payment in more than 6 months now. I have a credit score of about 600 which I have been trying (with no luck) to raise. I currently have a car loan with an awful interest rate, but I have never been late. My credit score is lower due also to old debt that's been settled and student loans. (Both of us are in grad school currently so our student loans are no longer an issue.) We want to finance a new car and we make approx. $111,000 per year with our combined incomes. Will the income be enough to get a good rate on a car loan or should we just hold off until we can save money to buy something out right?
Bad credit motorcycle financing help? My experian credit score is 515. I just got a auto loan for $16,000 and a unsecured mastercard. I have been trying to improve my credit. Is there any chance I can get a loan for $2000-$3000 for a used motorcycle? And could I get financed through suzuki or kawasaki?
Auto loan with bad credit, high down pymt and good salary?? Currently I've come into a stuck situation where I'm having some difficulty obtaining a car loan. I have bad credit due to several past layoffs, and I'm now working on recovering from that. I'm wanting to purchase a used truck for about $13,000 and I already have about $7000 saved for a down payment. I make a good steady salary now ($70k/yr) and I could probably get the difference paid off in a matter of months. However, I can't get banks or credit unions to finance me (they all but laughed at me when I applied) and I'd really rather not go with one of those rinky-dink operations that require a 60 month loan at 25% on their car lots only. I don't mind paying the higher interest rate as I'm expecting this, and the vehicle I'm looking at is from a private person and not a dealership, so I have to obtain financing myself. Does anyone have any ideas to finance something for a shorter term, maybe 12-24 months for $4000-6000? Any ideas?? Serious answers only please. The vehicle I'm looking at is from a private party and not a dealership...
Auto loan with bad credit and on unemployment? I'm currently looking into purchasing a used car no more than 5000. I am on unemployment and getting about 1800 a month from that. What do you think the chances are of getting financed on unemployment??
Auto Loan with large Down Payment for Bad Credit?? Good interest rate?? I have heard from several people that if you have a large down payment (such as 40% to 50% of the purchase price), you will be able to get a good interest rate from nearly any dealer/lender. Is this true?? I was looking at getting a 2009 Acura TSX, my credit is bad (540, nothing new though), and I have $20,000 cash. No, I'm not going to buy a used one. I want brand new and total price will be about $35,000 including tax, title, license, accessories, and rims. So that would be a $15,000 loan with $20,000 down. Would I still be subject to high interest rates, or is it true that lenders will give you the preferred rate for such a low LTV on the car?? Thanks!! I hope some auto finance people respond....
How can I find an auto loan with bad credit for AutoTrader.com? I found the perfect car for me on autotrader.com , however I can't find anyone to finance me. I tried several places but they just referred me to dealers in my local area. I was approved by the local dealers but the car I want is in another state. Is there anywhere online that can finance me without sending me to a local dealer? None of the local dealers have what I want. Please help. The car I want is only 8K I. I have 3K to put down, so why is it people who have credit worse than mine don't have a problem finding cars?
Anyone know of online Auto Financing sites? I have a small dealership, 10-12 cars. I do not want to deal with the hassle of going through in-house financing. I know there are many sites that advertise auto loans, but the majority of them just refer people to a dealer who buys the leads. What I need are sources to refer my customers to obtain their own financing. Most of them have marginal to bad credit. What would be ideal is a site where I can sit the customer down, have them put in their information, and get a decision quickly, and a check sent to either me or the customer. Does anyone know of any sub-prime lenders who give online approvals?
Where can I get an auto l can with bad credit-I only need $2900? I do not have the good credit at all. But I do want a auto loan. I have already found the vehicle. But it is a buy here pay here lot that only will finance if I put $2000 down. I do not have that kind of money on hand now. The total cost of the car is... $3195 plust tax and title. I do not want the car to get sold before I can get the loan process approved. This car is also a really really great deal. Where can I find an auto loan that will let me pick out the dealer with bad credit?
Getting Auto Finance with Not so good credit and part time job? Here's the deal: My credit is not so good, low 600 credit score. I'm working part time as a contract employee, working from home for almost a year. I want to buy my husband's boss' 2003 Honda Accord that he's selling for $7500. How do I go about getting financing for this type of deal without having to run from place to place, having everyone doing a credit check? And will I be able to get auto financing in my situation? Even though my husband works full time, his credit is worse than mine. So I want to try and do this on my own. I'm not sure if he would even be able to get it done either because of his credit. We really don't know how it all works when you're buying from an individual instead of a dealership. Would this make it even harder for me to get financing because I'm buying from an individual? Is this even possible for me? Any suggestions?
Can I transfer my minivan into my parents name even if they have bad credit? I had bought a minivan for my parents in september of last year. We still owe about 16,000 on the van. We are having trouble transferring it into their name because they both have a credit score in the mid to low 500s. Is there a way to transfer it into their name? They do not mind paying a higher interest rate. I have searched for auto financing loan companies but they usually want you to purchase a vehicle with one of their affiliate dealerships. We already have the minivan and are looking for just a way to get a loan to pay off the first loan and then put it in my parents name. Thanks
Bad Credit Sub-prime Direct Auto Lenders In Atlanta? We are both working with 500 mid score ficos, no bankruptcy, no foreclosures, no repos, just medical and credit card debt. We are looking for $13,993 to borrow for a nice pre-owned vehicle from a reputable nationwide dealer. We both have steady good incomes combined. Can anyone please refer us to maybe a direct sub prime lender besides BarNone financial. We plan to use Bar None but we would like other options. I know that a mid 500 score is gruesome credit but we really need something reliable for $13,993. I don't know if we are going to even get financing with a mid 500. Thanks
Auto Loan w/ bad credit? I am in need of a new car, as my current vehicle is gasping for life. I need to work out some financing, but have a problem: in my first year in college, I couldn't afford all my expenses due to not having a job. It was a bad time in my life, and I had to get rid of my car. Ignorantly, I voluntarily had it re-possessed. Bad move, I know, but it was all I could do at the time (or so I thought). This was 2 years ago, and since then I have completely recovered, haven't missed any payments, and my score has climbed from a low 500 to about a 625. I need a new car, but am afraid I won't be eligible due to the repo. I have a great paying job lined up (~50k/ year), and am looking to finance around 30k. What is the general consensus on this issue? Will I be able to get financing, or am I doomed? I am looking at Cap One for the loan, but also have a credit union I can try, though I am thinking that Cap One is my best bet. What do you all think? Thanks! Matt As for the job, I am still employed at the same employer since last summer, so technically I have been employed for nearly a year. The job I am getting is actually a permanent position at this firm; I have been part time because I have been going to college full time. I don't think my job history will be an issue in this case though (hopefully!)
Who can I call that would be willing to re-finance my very high interest auto loan, with my bad credit? I recently bought a car, and had to take a loan with an interest rate of 24.99%. That means that I'm going to pay double for my car once its payed off. I've been hearing that I can try refinancing after 6 months of "on time" payments, but I've applied twice now, and been turned down both times. Does anyone know anything about this. Who I can call? Or how long I should wait before I try again. The company that financed me does not offer a refinance option.

I have bad credit but I need an Auto loan? I have bad credit about 6000 worth but i have payed off a new car with a cosigner. I cant use the car as a down because the cosigner wants the car. Where can I find an auto loan for a vehicle that is older then ten years with mild to bad credit? I am looking to purcahse a 1997 buick park avenue. My parents used to go through capital one for auto loans, it did have a higher interest rate, but they finance people with mild to bad credit. As of recently capital one no longer finances vehicle that are older then 10 years. I am looking for a comparable website/bank that would offer an auto loan on something that old to someone with mild to bad credit. It has 74,000 miles on it.

Does a deffered auto loan hurt your credit?? I am considering deffering my auto loan until next month, but i am trying to buy a house soon . will it effect my credit. if so good or bad. the loan is with hsbc auto finance if that helps thanks
Does anybody know what is the best way or method How To Buy A Car With Very Bad Credit? There's dealers or services that specializes in helping with it but the point is that I must NOT apply with the wrong dealer because they may send my car loan application to many lenders whose program requirements I do not meet. I know If this happens my score may be lowered and when I am finally approved it may be at a higher rate than I would have received if my car loan application was sent to the right lender in the first place. That's the catch. I know also If my score is less than 600 I must find an automobile dealership or online service that specializes in special credit situations to obtain an auto loan through a bank or traditional finance company. You can give your recommendations as a websites or already tested by your self or your friends sources where I can be more confident to complete the task. Thank you very much in advance to all of you!

What do you know about Monster Auto Credit dealership in Md & Virginia? I'm trying to buy a car and trade in my current vehicle. I am extremely knowledgable about cars and financing but I currently have bad credit and have limited options. I talked to Monster Auto Credit in Maryland and Virginia, who assured me they could get me a car without raising my car payments but I read a few bad reviews about their practices. Has anyone dealt with them? (Im not looking for someone who works there to repeat their advertisments to me but a HONEST and REAL experience)

Bad credit history but have 610 credit score whats the best place to get a auto loan? About 2 years ago I had a repo put onto my credit *my ins company was charging me 2 times what they should have been and before I could fix that problem I was in debt and ended up lossing my car* Now I have all my credit paid off and a credit score of 610 and looking at getting a auto loan but im not sure who the best credit company to go with to get a good APR. I know im probly looking at 20% APR im sure. I need a auto loan of 15k and putting a down payment of 7k, total cost of vehicle about 22k. Looking at getting the car at the end of May. Is it better to go to the dealer and see about financing or try going throu capital one auto loan? Was also wondering about capital one because I have a good standing credit account with them. *my monthly income is over 2k*
Can I get a $25,000 car loan with bad credit (score 570ish)? I have bad credit issues due to past mistakes and now that my finances are in good standing, I still have the mistakes in my credit history. Can I get a $25,000 auto loan by myself? I have a great job and can afford the payments? Also I have a co-signer? Would I be able to get the loan with the co-signer?
What are the best auto loan lenders for fair credit? My credit score the last time I checked was 635 it's not good but it isn't totally bad. I really need a car. This would be my first auto purchase. Should I finance through a dealer? I keep getting turned down for auto loans.
My sister stole my identity, how do I remove this bad credit without prosecuting? After paying off all my credit cards, auto loan and mortgages, I let my credit sit without activity for the past seven years. I tried to finance a car the other day and found out that there is nothing on my credit report except a deliquent, closed to non payment Visa from Bank of America and a a delinquent closed account due to non payment from Lane Bryant. AFter investigating (I never had these 2 cards), I found out it was my sister. How do I get these bad reports off my credit report without prosecuting my sister? I want her punished, but not go to jail! And I know she doesn't have the 5K to repay the cards.

Advice regarding a nightmarish financing situation? A car I recently bought was stolen before I could buy insurance for it. This combined with a credit score of 550 has apparently made it impossible to find another auto loan. Over the past two weeks, I've applied with (and been refused by) dozens of banks. Several dealerships advertising bad credit financing help have been unable to find any financing at all, citing my existing car loan as the reason. Although I was originally shooting for an $8000 loan (the value of my stolen car), I've since lowered my expectations to around $4500, with no effect. And all this despite making $2600 per month, and having a cosigner. Do you think joining a local credit union might improve my chances? Has anyone out there successfully dealt with a similar problem? I was actually sold insurance with my loan, but I canceled it shortly after I bought the car, in favor of a company (Progressive) with better rates. Unfortunately, there was a problem (my bank hadn't yet cleared a recent paycheck deposit, despite the online account showing that they had, and so the initial deposit bounced) and the first time I heard of this was when I called to report my car stolen, which was four days after I received an email stating that the initial deposit had been processed, and my insurance account activated (they had informed me of the bounced withdrawal via mail, which I didn't receive until the day after my car was stolen.). Anyway, I intend to keep paying the original loan, I'm just trying to find a second loan- can anyone recommend a bank that might be willing to help? I've tried all the major ones.
I'm looking for auto financing.? My credit is PISS POOR but I'm sure they're are people with worse credit than me with really nice cars. I need to get a car financed for about 31k. I know traditional loan companies would laugh at me. I know not to expect a stellar rate but for the car I want, this is a steal for 31k.....Any suggestions? EEEHHH, I really didn't think that 31k was too much for a car. Perhaps, I'm a bit clouded but it's a mid priced car, no?? In any case, the thrill is gone....I actually just had my engine on my car go to crap and so I'm in the market for a new car. Now my new question is which one option makes better money sense-repair my car at aprox $ 1,800 or spend about the same and get what will probably be a spent up way used car? That's about all I have in cash to spare right now. Keep in mind the car I have now is a 93 Lexus SC300-thanks for all the advice guys*
Can I get auto financing with a 570 score and $2500.00 down? Before someone jumps to calling me a deadbeat and telling me to clean up my credit, let's clear some things up. I am not a deadbeat, just someone who has seen bad times with a very young son having gone through cancer and exhausting my resources. The things that remain on my credit are 3 hospital bills totaling <$900.00 that insurance should have taken care of and student loans which I had been paying on but during the time he was very sick, I stopped. I started back paying and for the past 9 mths I have been paying those faithfully. Those are the only negative things on my credit. I do have auto loans still remaining that I have paid off and reflect on the positive side. I need a car now due to someone rearending me and totaling my SUV. So I don't have time to clean up my credit. If anyone knows of a finance company that would help, please let me know. Thanks to all who respond.

(auto)? ive recently found a car that is too good of an offer to pass up.. good condition, low miles, good price, etc. but i dont have the cash to pay.. this guy will only take cash or bank financing.. i was wondering what banks would be the best for me to apply for a loan with? fyi. this car is $5,000 my credit is bad im 19 and i live in san antonio, tx
Question for all u financing guru's! If I put 15000 cash down on a car that costs 22000....? and the blue book is 25000 is it likely that a bank or auto financing co will finance the rest even though I have bad credit? I'm recovering from a messy divorce. Also, I'm familiar with the high enterest loans and car lots that will finance anyone but I refuse to fall victum to these guys. I'd rather not by anything than pay 20% interest or twice what the vehicle is worth! Anywho...any advice would be greatly appriciated! Thank you sooo much! P.S. I've been at my job for 3 yrs, make above average for a admin assist in AR and have a home loan that was established before my divorce, if that matters.
auto refinance? I financed a car at 19.95% because of bad credit. About 5 months later, I recieved an offer to refinance with Capital One at 16.95%, so I did. I just recieved another offer to refinance again with Household Auto Financing at 12.95%. Should I refinance again? Will this be hurting my credit?
Can a car contract be broken if they can't get you financed with a co. that will report to the credit bureaus? We bought a car through an Auto Wholesale Broker in California. We signed a contract for 48 months @ $302 per month. We are paying a really high interest rate (21%) because of bad credit. This company specializes in financing people with bad credit. We've had the car for about 3 weeks and now they are saying that they can't get us financed and they want to do it "In-house". We bought the car at such a high interest rate so that we could re-build our credit. Now if they do it "in-house" they will not report to the credit bureaus. We told them that we are not agreeable to the in-house financing and we would bring the car back and they could give us our $500 down payment back. They are telling us NO!! They knew that the only reason we bought the car was to re-establish our credit. Who would pay 21% interest and not gain anything from it?? Can we legally bring the car back and get our money back since they didn't get us the financing that they promised? PLEASE HELP SOON !!
Is it realistic that I will get this auto loan? i went to an Acura dealer today to look at an Eclipse i want for $4995. I have bad credit because of 2 credit cards, 1 bounced check with Wal-mart and some unjust charges(to me) from Key bank. But I have a paid off auto loan through Chase. Before i went on I talked to the dealer on the phone and he said they dealt with banks who financed good credit and bad credit applicants. I went in filled out the credit app. and he Said he'll contact me on Monday with an answer( I guess because the banks aren't open on the weekend?) but I've done the math with the price of the eclipse, my trade-in, and what I make. And I would easily be able to afford payments on a 5- year loan. The thing is I'm still in school and only work part-time and make around $9000 per month. Will they look at that as too low? And what do you think my interest rate would end up at? more than 15%? thanks for the answers I meant I make $900 per month not $9000, sorry. tmladenka, STFU prick, I'm halfway trough my college degree and upon graduation I'll be making more than your sorry ass will ever dream of. And I guess I have to wait till Monday because there was only about 45 minutes until they closed. BTW I just looked up my credit score and it is 548. It's kind of bs, because my paid off car loan is by far more in numbers than any of my debts. and 1 more thing, read the details added people I MAKE $900 A MONTH NOT 9000! THAT's WHAT WE CALL A TYPO ;) also, I should've mentioned that after doing the math ie. trade in, interest, income, My payments would be under $100 monthly on a 5 year loan.
How much will my credit score increase when my paid auto repo drops off my credit report in February? I also have an unpaid $80.00 hospital bill in collections that is scheduled to come off in June. I need to buy a new car as soon as possible because I commute about 75 miles round trip every day, and my piece of junk used car that I financed in May 05 ( and am still paying on at a horrible rate through a bad loan company) is ready to break down at any minute. I am hoping to be able to get financing from a regular lender this time, and I am wondering if I would need to wait until both of these items fall off my report, or just the paid repo. Right now my credit score is about 632 . I have my current auto loan, several credit cards, and several student loans on my report which are all in good standing. I have no late payments and no other derogatory items. I am hoping to get a loan for around $17-18000 with about $2500 down.
SPIFIMAN. Do you really think a repo. is really that bad? You say:Auto finance is what I do for a living and a repossession without a bankruptcy is one of the worst things that can show on your credit. I had a repo in October of 2006 on a Ford Escape. My car was auction off and they got more for it then what it was worth and the balance was sent to me $347.00. In September of this year I purchase a brand new ford escape from the same dealer Sheehy Ford and it was financed through the same company Ford Motor Credit Company I had no problem what so ever purchasing another vehicle after my repo. and only put down $1,500. A repo made look bad on your credit report but you can still purchase another vehicle.
Any comments on Instant Auto Finance in Fort Wayne??? My complaints against them will take more than what space is here. Just be FORWARNED! They are WORST than Superior Auto, JD Byrider & EZ Car Credit. We had bought a car from them in the past with no problems, but the car we bought in February nothing but problems. They are scam artists at their best. Paid $12,000 (with interest) and they can't even give me a spare tire and jack! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I am filing a complaint with the BBB AND the Indiana Attorney General. I know it seems petty for a spare tire, but it goes deeper than that. This is the last thing in a long, long list of things. My car is great now, but not at first. Let's put it this way, we had to hire another mechanic to get to the bottom of our car problems in order to get them fixed properly!
If someone cosigns on an auto loan for someone with no credit is there any draw back for them? Say the vehicle is $75,000. If the person upheld their part of the deal (making full payments on time) would there be any drawbacks for the cosigner? For Example: I was wondering if the cosigner had a business opportunity and went to get financing would it look bad for him that he is cosigner for someone with no credit? Garfield: I have yet to see a new Ferrarie for 75K. If you find one though, let me know.
how good is the bar none for an auto loan? also do they do the financing or do they find banks. i have really bad credit and can get approved for an auto loan but because a have a trade in with neg equity i cant get one with out a huge down payment. if i dont trade it in i can get approevd but i cant afford both any suggestions
I've been trying to get an auto loan??? I found the vehicle I want to purchase. I am 20 years old. I can comfortably afford the payments. I only have 2 credit cards, with a total of less than $600 owed. (lol) I have never financed a vehicle prior to this. The dealer tried getting me a loan with a bank, but they did not approve me because of my lenght of employment. I was at my prior job for a year and a half. How hard is it to get financing through a dealer with bad credit? (my score is in the 500's). I know the interest will be sky high, but I am planning on paying more per month than owed, and refinancing after a while. Oops, sorry. Well, I want to know if anyone knows any other options I have. I have tried getting an auto loan with capital one, but they did not approve me either. I have a credit card with them, but with a limit of $300. MORE DETAILS: Yes I was at my previous job for a year and a half, and I just started my new job a month ago.
If someone is trying to clean up their credit and there are charge-offs....? should they try and pay these off or just forget about them? I have a customer that has really bad credit but wants to buy a home and i have teken it upon myself to attempt to help them clean their credit. They have civil judgements they will pay first and then there are these two charge offs on autos... I am not sure whether they should pay them off or what. I was thinking that maybe if they pay on them for a year and show that they can make the payments for a year it will look good to the finance companies. Any suggestions?
auto loans?? My husband is trying to finance for a car loan.. however, he doesnt have enough credit so he needs a co-signer. My credit is very bad. If i add my name to the loan application, would it give it a better chance of getting the loan since i do have more credit (even if its bad) or am i better off of the application? And if i do apply and get approved, would it ruin his credit b/c of my hsitory of bad credit? I have only 4-5 negative reports that i have not paid for.. nothing major like a car though. I also have a few good standing accounts as of today.
My credit score is 600 due to many inquiries in last 2 years. All my accounts are always on time and neverlate Am Active Military going through my Navy bank for a new auto loan. Asked for 14k. I owe 5,500 on mr current out of commission 99 Elantra and is worth 1,400. Repairs are 1,300. My bank says I have too many inquiries in the last 2 years for them to do anything over 10k. I have never missed a payment in 5 years and have no bad accounts. One late payment over 60 days 6 years ago but I refused to pay for a faulty service so that's my fault. Any advice on going through dealership for financing or credit score help? I do not own a home. Being Active Duty Navy and always moving around I havn't bought a home yet so no mortgage, I do rent however. The two problems are neg. equity for current car and low score because of enquiries. I told the manager I havn't missed a payment since I've had the car(5 years) and they couldn't help me out. I am in Newport and travel to Maine(6 hours) every weekend because of family problems and my grandparents are terminally ill. I can't afford to be stranded from work, and especially from home. Most of the enquiries were from last year, when I wanted to trade the car in before the subframe somehow cracked and left my stranded this week. Don't have anything within last 12 months except from my bank trying to get me an auto loan.
Auto Repossession? I just can't afford the payments of my 2006-Honda Civic. I'm 2 months behind and I am thinking in voluntary repossess the car. I called American Honda Finance Corp. and they told me that when I decide, I have to call them to let them know that I want to do it, then they are going to contact the Dealer where I bought the car, and then I can go to sign some papers. Do that mean that they can take me to court to make me pay the negative equity? What would happen if I do it beside the bad credit history for 7 years? My balance is 19,800 Any other suggestion??? Help!!!!!!!!!
What companies offer 72, 84, 96, 108, 120 or 144 month car financing for used autos? I have excellent credit and am evaluating my options for financing a car. Ideally the loan would be for 100% of the purchase. This is for a used car. I have found many credit unions, but they have very strict membership requirements. Google'ing for it, only brings up articles/blogs about people complaining about what a bad idea it is. I need actual companies and their contact information. I want to research the various programs offered by these lenders. Do not lecture me about long-term car loans being a bad idea.
I'm out of work for three months due to an eye injury....? but how can I get out of paying my car payment for instance without having a bad mark on my credit? I may eventually have unemployment come in but that money will go towards more important things like gas, food and other bills. This eye injury is not work related. It's due to a contact lens solution that should have been pulled from the shelves before being sold to me. Oh yeah...I have tried to call my auto finance company and I have had different responses. Some have said that I can skip one payment and then have it added to the next few payments afterwards and another person said wait until the loan's six month's old and call back then. This is a new load that begun in this february. This eye injury also has me restricted to light duty work. As a result, I cannot return to work even under light duty. I would love to go back to work even as sensitive to light as my eye is. I suppose if you're wondering how my eye injury does keep me working, I am a train conductor and my duties consist of watching the movement of my train, day or night. The day part was a big problem the first couple weeks after my transplant surgery.
Need to upgrade Jeep. Can I refinance my loan to include those upgrades? Hello. I have a few questions about re-financing an auto loan. I have a Jeep Wrangler that I want to upgrade (suspension and tires etc.). Now, I have a loan with Chrysler which I owe about $15,000 currently. Would I be able to re-finance my loan for, say, $18,000 (with another bank, loaner, or even Chrysler) to cover the charges of those upgrades? And just have my monthly payment go up? Or would I be better off just taking out a small personal loan? Or just saving the cash (the hardest and longest)? I have good credit and I always pay my bills on time. Would this bad for my credit? What would you do? Any suggestions or opinions would be excellent. Thank you in advance.

Can i haggle with my finance company to pay off my car loan? We bought a car in September of 2005, and we have a god aweful 22.75% interest rate. it was a 60 month loan We currently owe about 7700.00 on the loan We have sold our house, and im in a position to just pay it off. Can I haggle down to not pay so much of their interest, or what? or shoudl i just sock the money aside (we are terrible savers) and auto pay the payments each month, to rebuild our bad credit Im not sure, but it seems like if i dont just pay it off, im paying them a lot of unnecessary interest Thanx
