Any companies that deal specifically with bad credit auto loans? I went to a few car dealerships, but no one will approve me because I only have a 505 credit score. They said the only way is if I can get a cosigner.. which I dont have one. Does anyone know if there are companies or car dealers that deal with just bad credit car loans?

Bad credit auto loans? I'm a student and kinda stuck in getting a auto loan. Basically, I need a car to get to work, to get a car I need a auto loan, to get a auto loan I need a job (to show the proof of employment). So, how am I suppose to get a auto loan with a bad credit, no co-signer and no employment? I would really appreciate any help!!! I live on campus and the transportation system here sucks (Houston, Texas). It's next to impossible to get a job on-campus because it's very competitive. Are online ads for bad credit auto loans legit? Okay, I'm really out of options. Everything went bad at once and we're just stuck. Our credit is around 530, and yes, we have been working on paying stuff off. I started job hunting, to help pay more off sooner and get our credit cleaned up. Our van completely died. We looked into having it fixed, but the cost would be the same as getting a new used vehicle. It's old, and we'd already put a lot of money in it to keep it running. We have 4 kids, and the only vehicle we have is small truck that runs on good days. My husband uses it for work. The kids have dentist appts coming up that I have no way to take them to, and I have no way to go to job interviews. We live in a very small town, no buses, and no family around the area to help us with rides. I've tried Wells Fargo, the bank, some of the car dealerships, and turned down. Even if we could just a very small loan for the down payment at a buy here pay here lot would help. Are any of the online auto loan sites legit?

Hi, My credit is bad and I've filled out a few applications on line but I always get responses from dealerships - I want a specific car and none of the dealerships that respond back are places that carry the car (Yaris). I keep getting referred to Kia or Hyundai...are there any places that will give me a loan I can use at different dealerships?? Auto loans for bad credit? My credit score is somewhere between 500 and 550, and I have an auto loan through Drivetime that I would like to get out of. I need a new car (family is bigger, so I need a bigger car), but I still owe 11,000 on my old car. That's after a year and a half of making on-time payments. But This is not what I need, I need a little bit higher, say, 15,000. Since, I have no debt, Are all the places gonna only approve me for 12,000 or can I get anymore? The only credit he has is bad stuff (collections, write-offs) and he does not have any good tradelines. I have tried lending tree and e-loan both of which declined him. Refinancing a really bad auto loan, Credit Union Recommendations? i have an auto loan that I got from Capital one right after Ch 7 discharge for 21k at 25% apr $557. I paid for it for 7 months and then had it refinanced through wells fargo for 20% apr $505 a month. Obviously this is ridiculous to pay for a car and since im well past my discharge can I refinance again? I have bad credit due to several past layoffs, and I'm now working on recovering from that. I'm wanting to purchase a used truck for about $13,000 and I already have about $7000 saved for a down payment. I make a good steady salary now ($70k/yr) and I could probably get the difference paid off in a matter of months. However, I can't get banks or credit unions to finance me (they all but laughed at me when I applied) and I'd really rather not go with one of those rinky-dink operations that require a 60 month loan at 25% on their car lots only. I don't mind paying the higher interest rate as I'm expecting this, and the vehicle I'm looking at is from a private person and not a dealership, so I have to obtain financing myself. Does anyone have any ideas to finance something for a shorter term, maybe 12-24 months for $4000-6000? Any ideas?? Serious answers only please. I need to work out some financing, but have a problem: in my first year in college, I couldn't afford all my expenses due to not having a job. What is the general consensus on this issue? Will I be able to get financing, or am I doomed? Are there sources out there that does bad credit loans for auto repair? My credit is terrible due to medical bills in the past that are still haunting me.
