Im hoping to rebuild my credit, all my old debts are paid off (including my car) and would like a credit card... the limit isnt important. I have been shopping around for financing through traditional lenders, but due to my 518 FICO score and millions of charge-offs, I can't get fianancing. They all have bad credit and so do much of my friends. I really do not know anyone with cash on hand either. I have been looking into getting an angel investor or a venture capitalist, but I do not know if that'll work. I've posted an ad on Prosper and I never get responses. Again, I think that this is due to my bad credit. I am seriously running out of ideas. I have 15 months invested in this and I do NOT want to give up. Does anyone have any suggestions or can anyone suggest a place that can help me? I know I need to fix my credit, but I need the money to do it. Please, please, help!

Can you become a police officer with bad credit or bankruptcy on your credit report? I am going to be taking the Basic Law Enforcement Training program this year. How bad credit hit is a repo? I already know it's bad. What I need is info on how many credit score points it takes off. Also, if you buy a second car before the repo and pay it on time, will that help offset the repo? A buddy is in a really bad car loan with an aging car and walking away from the loan is probably his only shot at getting out from under it anytime soon. Bad Credit? I'm from the US and have bad credit. I'm unable to pay it at the moment due to my financial crisis. (My brother and I had to use several credit cards to pay bills when my father was hospitalized. Trust me, you don't think twice when your loved one is in critical condition.) bad credit? I am going to be a sophomore in college next year and i was planning on getting an apartment with this couple. They have already signed the lease and what not they are now looking for two roommates. I live in michigan and its a really hard time for everyone here. Bad Credit? Ok, here is the deal. I have a credit score of 583. I have 4 collection issues on my history. One is for 1500 but will reach 7yrs old in about 7 months. The others are over 5yrs old and don't amount to over 200 each. We got approved for our house (due to my wifes score of 760). Should we just let the big collection fall off and focus on paying the smaller ones off? We don't need to get anymore loans for another couple years, we have newer cars already and now the house. Bad credit personal loan? My husband and I have wroked hard in the past year to clear up his bad credit. We managed to pay off 10 of his delinquent credit items, and only one remains. We have a couple of high interest credit cards that are current that we would like to pay off and also, I lost my job about 3 months ago, and we got behind on rent. I am working again, but we would like to be able to catch up on rent and pay off some other bills. We also need a second car. Bad credit or not bad ...? Why is it in the USA that a personâ??s good name and credit rating is ruined for not being able to pay extreme hospital bills? Assume someone is taken to the ER via ambulance and is gravely ill, after a protracted stay in the hospital they amazingly survive, only to face bills surpassing $300,000. Before being ill they worked a full time job but had no insurance. They always paid bills on time and had excellent credit. What does the lack of ability to pay that unexpected Hospital bill have to do with their willingness to pay back a credit card bill or a car loan? They are not deadbeats; they are victims of a flawed system that allows the working poor to be fleeced. Not being able to pay a medical bill should in no way affect your credit rating in my opinion, people that max out 5 credit cards buying items they cannot afford should suffer the indignity of bad credit, not honest everyday working Americans who just happen to get sick. What do you think? I could get into the debate over the pros and cons of socialized medicine but thatâ??s not my issue here. The simple question is; does an unexpected medical bill constitute a loan? Bad Credit and im trying to find a mortgage? well here is the thing. I have bad credit in the very low 500's and my wife as well. We have had a chapter 7 bankruptcy that was discharged but as well still have negative info on our credit that has been on there since. You always see credit cards for people with bad credit, but what about if you have AWESOME credit? We are constantly seeing credit cards and loans directed at people with no or bad credit. What about cards for people with an 800+ credit score? What cards are most attractive for people with good credit and why arn't they advertised? I know there is more money (for companies) for people with bad credit since they usually don't pay on-time thus they have bad credit and credit companies can charge fee's and interest. And poor people are a $7 Trillion dollar industry. But what about the rich? Or People with FANTASTIC Credit?
Unfair bad credit? I had a Barclaycard 2 years ago, I ended up having problems with them when they changed my address without my permission - by the time I realised what was going on I was late in payments & with a DCA (bad me), did not help that I was the sole earner in a family of 3. I had all my bills and a new card sent to the wrong address, an address I did not give them, but they refused to let me change my address because I could not pass security â?? their questions were based on my address & previous bills!! â?? So I just paid the whole lot off. Now I have bad credit as a result, doing my best to get better credit (all my bills paid via DD on time â?? card, two mobiles, nothing else because this has left me in a place where I have little spare cash & I have had to move back with my abusive mother with little chance of escape with this over my head) but this is the major problem on my credit report. Bad Credit Credit Cards.? I went through a bad divorce, and it destroyed my credit. I have been rebuilding it for some time. I currently have a student loan very current and have an auto loan with a perfect payment record. My score was at won time down to 430, and I currently am up to 575. About four six years ago I financed a car loan and by the third year into it owing about $3000 I stopped paying on it because it was a piece of crap. It had lots of problems and I couldn't drive it. High income but bad credit???? I guess it is true what they say.... it's easier to deal with bad credit when you have no money. I need advice. I have started doing really good financially lately... making over $120k/annually for about the last 2 years. The problem is that I have really bad credit from write-offs and so forth when I was younger - my fault completely. But now that I am more financially stable and responsible I would like to look into getting a nice car (from somewhere other than a bad credit dealership), and possibly look into buying a house at some point in the future. Also, the government backed loans didnt help enough either... i need to be able to pay for the books i need and a computer which the school wont include in the cost of attendece, so therefore i cannot get the money from the government backed loans. I need some ideas on where to apply for a private student loan where bad credit wont hurt me and get me denied. I have a cosigner but his credit isnt good either. HELP!!!!!!
What classifies as "bad credit"? The reason I am asking this, is because often times, lenders say that they welcome those with "bad credit". However, when people with "bad credit" apply for the loans, they are often turned down, conicidentally, due to having "bad credit". Maybe my questions should be, is there a such thing as "horrific credit"? If so, what are the signs that someone has it? Also, are there ANY lenders that approve this particular type of credit?
bad credit due to an ex!? about 4 years ago when I was with an ex boyfriend, (he had bad credit, i had good credit) I co signed for him to get some rims and tires on his car, also I was the first on an apartment that he signed a contract with. Well, once our relationship started to fall apart he moved out of the apartment before the contract was up and didn't pay the rest of the contract and stoped paying on his rims and tires... so now that I am married my husband and I are trying to buy a house but those two things are stopping me and I don't have the money just to pay for those... and I feel like I shouldn't have to. Is there a way to try to get those removed off of my credit and help bump up my credit score?
bad credit, no credit, no problem? recently i see an add for a vehicle and with the add i see bad credit no credit no problem. to me this says they will get anyone into a vehicle regardless of credit history. is this true? or are there extenuating circumstances for this also? i am trying to help someone get a car without me as a co-signer. thanks for your input.
Mortage Bad Credit? Just got turned down by leanding tree. Does any body know of a company that has type b or c loans? or investor group that does that kind of thing it is a 100,000 loan for a co-op I also made the mistake of filling out a bad mortage application online now i have mortage companies calling me night and day they just do not understand bad credit. so if you have bad credit and got a mortage what company did you use.
Bad credit car loans in Chicago? I have horrible credit, I had clinical depresion for about 2 year, I was in medications and now I am med free and have a good job, but I get paid cash. I need to buy a car, but I have bad credit due to non payment on several accounts. I am making arrangements to pay them off and hope to rebuild my credit and my life once again. Student Loans-bad credit? Does anyone know if student loan companies will turn you down for bad credit? I have bad credit but would like to go to college here shortly and the only thing holding me back is money. What I would like to do is take out a loan large enough to cover my living expenses and my tuition while I am in school, so that if I have a bad month at work I don't have to worry about being homeless while still trying to work and go to school. I figure a $25,000 loan would be enough to cover all expenses and tuition for one year and that I could make payments on it while I go to school, but since payments aren't required until graduation, i could skip a month of payments if necessary. unsecured bad credit personl loan? need a loan of 5000. does any one have experience with any company that would aprove someone with bad credit. actually my credit is not that bad except for alot of inquiries and couple of new lines of credit that i haven't been paying on long. everything is being paid on time. been on job 5 yrs. and residence 3 yrs.
